As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I am dedicated to the mental health and well-being of each of my clients. I approach each client with respect, compassion, and strive to help them reach their own personal goals. Whether you are struggling with the stress of day-to-day life or suffer with an issue such as anxiety or depression, I am here to help. Laura Doyle, MA, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling and an endorsement in school counseling. I have worked with individuals and groups, specializing in children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as seniors. As a parent of three teens, I understand the needs of both the child and the parent, and am sensitive to the delicate balance of family, academic, and other demands. I am also interested in working with seniors in order to help them explore and manage life changes.
My therapeutic style is humanistic, building rapport with each client through trust and empathy. As each client’s unique needs are revealed, an integrated approach, including psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused, and existential models are drawn upon in order to reach the client’s goals. I create a warm, creative, and non-judgmental atmosphere in which to engage individuals and groups in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their concerns so that they are more empowered to effectively cope and make positive changes.

Kristen Szpinalski, MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

I operate on the notion that everyone has the ability to be their best self. However, this often comes with many of life's obstacles and defeating such obstacles can be challenging. I can help individuals restore their confidence to overcome hardships and rediscover the tools to finding happiness. I help my clients identify specific barriers to achieving their goals and help work through them to regain the ability to lead a fulfilling life. I have worked with many types of individuals including adults struggling with anxiety, depression, alternative sexual lifestyles, and trauma as well as teens experiencing difficulty with body image and self-esteem issues, relationship problems, suicidal ideation/self-injury, LGBTQ issues, and depression. I have also worked with couples experiencing issues such as infidelity, trust, and communication concerns. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and integrate this method in couples work. I have had experience working on a crisis response team which consisted of providing immediate mental health services to those in need. Often times, this required responding to hospitals, residences, schools, and police stations. Taking the first step to receiving help is not easy, but you do not have to do it alone!
